Want to apologize for a long absence... About 4 weeks ago I found out that there was a conference in Kentucky that was willing to assist me in travel costs to enable me to come and participate in their conference, and since then, it's been a whirlwind of buses, planes, trains, and car rides that have taken me all over India and the USA.
I am Currently State-side, having exicting meetings with individuals around the US about joining, contributing, and being a part of the online networking platform we are launching at the Beginning of November. In my spare time, I'm also finishing up design work for the site, developing the creative-arts community, and devoting some time to my own Work.
For myself, I am happy to say I've begun some nice, 22"x30" watercolor and ink drawings - as well as nearly completed my website. You can find my full-on, super cool, brand-spankin new website at www.zoelive.net - I'm super happy with it and excited to have gotten it to the stage that I can share it! Special thanks to Evan (Rod's son) for alot of Photography work, as well as Dan (my beau) for Photo work, and Alistair for Technie assistance.
Since being state-side I was lucky/happy to be able to make it back for the weekend of the hogroast, held in lovely Indianapolis with Lynn and Rick and the whole Hoovler Gang. Shortly there-after I took a road trip to Idaho, spending time camping and hiking around Idaho, Utah, and Colorado. I've been back in St. Louis for about a week, with a quick trip down to Kentucky to represent Wash. U. at a college fair. I'll be in STL for another 2 weeks, and then leave for Louisville, KY - for the conference, before heading back to India.
There are loads of good stories to share about being back in the states- especially good are the tales of rupturing the fuel tank of the car we were in on top of a mountain in Idaho, and the morning I spent at Arches in Southern Utah...
However, it's already been a long blog-post and I'm not interested in being TOO wordy.. :)
Anyhow, its hard to say how busy I'll be when down in the Louisville area - it looks like it will be pretty jam packed, but to my aunties and uncles in the area: I'd love to see you, so hopefully we can find a way to make that happen. I'll be staying down-town... :)
Much, Much, MUCH love to you all,
especially all my hosts and drivers since re-arrival state-side!
And check out the website!!!!
Z
